Depart from your lodging towards Ouarzazate through the green valleys before arriving at Tizi n Tichka (2260 meters) from where you can value the wonderful landscape of the High Atlas. Continue your adventure to visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, an excellent sand mansion nestling mysteriously in a field of almond trees; so wonderful with its play of light to become the setting for some well-known movies, for example, “Lawrence of Arabia” and “Tea in the leave.” Kasbah of such pride to end up UNESCO World Heritage Site. Keep on until reaching Ouarzazate, situated at the crossroads of the valleys of Draa, Ziz and Dades. Visit the city town area, which is not at all like Marrakech it’s peaceful and characterized by mud buildings which are typical in this area of Morocco. Visit the Kasbah Taourit, the previous habitation of Glaoui, with its towers that dominate the mass of houses and rise up to the blue sky. From the Todra gorges we travel to Merzouga through the dry landscapes and along many palm trees. A short time later we stop in Erfoud, the capital of fossils, extremely famous for its factories of fossils. Then we head towards the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. We proceed further into the Sahara desert until the point that sand ridges show up amidst no place. We can ride camels in the camp under the stars that sparkle in the sky. You can climb the dunes and watch the moon before going to bed in the tents.
Start your last day of the desert by driving to Fes through the valley of Ziz, mountains and the Middle Atlas. Stop at Midelt for lunch, then go by the cedar forests with monkeys. keep on to Ifrane, a town of unique charm. We reach Fes in the evening.
