3 Days Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga

On this 3 Days Fes Desert Tours, we Will meet you at your accommodation in Fes at 08:00 morning and go through the Middle Atlas by Ifrane “Moroccan Switzerland” and Azrou. You will have a stop at the cedar woods for a visit to Cedre Gouraud Tree where you will see Barbary monkies. From here we drive south going by a few towns and you will get the chance to see nomads living in tents on the way. You will observe the volcanic rocks as well. Our next stop is in Midelt where you will have lunch. Later on, proceeding with our drive by the Tizi N’Talghomt Pass (1907m) while getting the panoramic views. You will then cross Ziz Gorge and the passage. Close Errachidia, you will see the Barrage Hassan Al-Dakhil which has turquoise blue water. Continue with our drive to Erfoud, you will have a stop to see the views of Aoufous palmeraie along Ziz River.
Arriving to Erfoud and cross the off-road to arrive at your lodging on the foot of the hills. After drinking your tea with mint You will experience a camel ride in Merzouga to reach the desert camp amidst dunes where you will spend the night, You’ll enjoy the night under the stars, take your dinner and drumming with Berbers then sleep in Nomad Berber tent.

Your guide will wake you for the dawn and ride camels back to the lodging for a shower then enjoy breakfast and prepare for the new trip. We will go to Rissani and visit to Zawiya Moulay Ali Sharif and you may also explore the Souk (market) with the chance to see the Fondouks where mules gather. Proceeding on our drive toward Tineghir going by Erfoud “the capital of fossil”. You will see the Khatarat (Canal irrigation system) on our way. Our next stop is in Tineghir or Tinejdad where we’ll relax and have our lunch.
Later on, we will proceed alongside the river to arrive at the canyon where you will climb/Walk through this amazing spot while appreciating the panoramic views of high rock walls (up to 300 meters). A short time later, we go to Boumalne Du Dades and afterward to the Dades gorges to investigate the Dades canyons and see its stone formation “human bodies, fingers of monkeys”. Supper and overnight remain in a Hotel.

After breakfast we will go to Marrakech by Ouarzazate, Boumalne du Dadès, Skoura and El-Kelaâ M’Gouna. You will appreciate the views of the Valley of One Thousand Kasbahs, Valley of the Roses and Skoura Oasis while driving. We will arrive to Ouarzazate, there stop to see the Kasbah of Taourirt that was constructed by the Glaoui dynasty.
